The Senate Version of the National Defense Reauthorization Act Really DOES Require 18-Year-Old Women to Register for Draft
By Sundance
Requiring women to register for Selective Service (the draft) is actually a part of the 2025 National Defense Reauthorization Act that has been assembled in the Senate. When I first heard of this, I thought it was a stupid spoof, but it isnt. It’s real.
Keep in mind, in order for this to be in the print version of the Senate bill, the Senate Armed Services Committee had to vote to approve it. Repeat that sentence if needed. The Senate Armed Service Committee, meaning every member on that committee, had to support the change to make women register for the draft.
Rob Wicker, Deb Fischer, Tom Cotton, Mike Rounds, Jodi Ernst, Dan Sullivan, Kevin Cramer, Rick Scott, Tommy Tuberville, Markwayne Mullin, Ted Budd and Eric Schmitt are all GOP members of the Senate Armed Services Committee. No serious country would force women into war. How many of these idiots will try to run away from the construct by claiming ignorance?
A rare opportunity for me to agree with the US Senate.
