I am heartened by the conversations with the littles in my family as well. While riding to an after-school event in 2021, I told my granchildren that Nana wouldn't be wearing a mask because her doctor told her not to. The replies of littles who had been forced to wear them during even a Christian school here in San Diego were: Elijah (7) "They don't work anyway." and Lillie Grace (6) "We need to get a new president."
Now when I need to give them a little similar heads up preventative "idea-inoculation" on some other weird thing going on, I just say, "It is the mask people doing it. They are trying to trick us again .... crazy huh!" And they understand that, and file it away, and we go right to talking about something happy, good and true. They are happy children, but know something is not right in the leadership of our country, so we need to talk to them, as well as everyone else around us in kid-sized bites of truth like these where "they" - the mask people - are the enemy of us all, and "we should have been able to believe them, but unfortunately, we can't." I am a retired Christian attorney-mediator/pastor's widow. I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution, and to stand for God's unchangeable principles. I am not exchanging the truth for a lie at this late stage of the game. Stay strong in the Lord and the power of His might, and speak and be the truth in love wherever you go.
We are the majority. Its just taking a while for the majority of the majority to be impacted in a way that makes it say enough is enough.
It takes a while to build momentum, but once it starts, its hard to stop.
