I just read the letter. I am confident that the writer of the letter went to sleep last night thinking, "There Mr. Musk, I told you." However, I am equally confident that Mr. Musk, went to bed thinking, "What did that fellow just say and what does he think he just said." I know that this reader/writer hasn't the slightest idea what was communicated by the letter and must assume one of two things, or possibly both at the same time. Either Mr. Musk has in hand or will shortly have in hand a deciphering sheet that will inform Mr. Musk what message was hidden in that coded communication OR Mr. Musk will be waiting for his team of expensive European attorneys to crack the code and tell him what the letter may have attempted to communicate to him. In the meantime, Mr. Musk will probably be wondering how much that pointless exercise will eventually cost him and is the bureaucrat who wrote it still suffering from the pain that is generally caused by an over-inflated chest. It's no wonder that no one seems to know what the other guy is saying anymore, or why technocrats are working so hard to perfect AI's. Mankind is depending on them, sadly. Unless we have them and their AI's it seems that human beings will not be able to return to a time when men were able to speak with one another without resorting to violence.
